Linate Airport Guide to Milan Linate Airport - LIN

Linate Airport Terminal

Linate Airport was built nearby Idroscalo lake in Milan to replace Taliedo Airport, which were the former aero facilities, one of the world’s first aerodromes and airports, since it was too small to host the commercial traffic. It was completely built in 1950s and the in the 1980s too.

The airport was named after a small village located in the town of Peschiera Borromeo, even the official name is Airport Enrico Forlanini.

It is the main hub for the major Italian airline Alitalia. The airport just operates domestic and EU flights.
